Police Find Suspected Meth, Counterfeit Money in Latonia Lakes
Kenton County Police discovered 80 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine and other evidence of alleged criminal behavior after searching a home in Latonia Lakes.
On Sunday, officers said that they observed a man walk out of the home on the 6000 block of Clubhouse Drive and then "flee back inside when he saw them."
Nathaniel Spencer, 25, and Maegan Warren, 22, were arrested. They were both wanted on outstanding warrants, and now face new charges of trafficking meth, criminal possession of a forged instrument, and felon in possession of a handgun.
In addition to the suspected meth, officers also found a handgun and five counterfeit twenty dollar bills.
Kenton County Police worked in conjunction with the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Task Force and the Fort Mitchell Police Department.
Spencer and Warren are set to appear in Kenton District Court on October 2.
