NKY Chamber to Announce Priorities for 2019 General Assembly
The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce will host its annual legislative preview reception on Tuesday, December 18.
The event - dubbed "Where We Stand" - will feature Sen. Chris McDaniel (R-Taylor Mill) and State Rep. Diane St. Onge (R-Ft. Wright), along with newly-elected State Rep. Ed Massey (R-Hebron).
During the reception, which will be held at the Devou Golf & Event Center in Covington (1201 Park Drive), the Chamber will preview its legislative agenda and priorities for the upcoming General Assembly session in Frankfort.
“This annual event is a great way for our elected officials to learn more about our legislative priorities, and for us to hear more about their agendas for the legislative session,” said Brent Cooper, President & CEO of the NKY Chamber. “It is also an opportunity for our members to directly interact with Northern Kentucky representatives and provide ‘real world’ examples about how public policies impact NKY businesses on a daily basis. Everything that impacts workforce: transportation, education, health care, and many other topics, will be part of the conversation.”
The “Where We Stand” reception will take place from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Registration is $30 for NKY Chamber members, $40 for non-members, $25 for NKYP Passport holders, and includes light hors-d'oeuvres. For additional information, and to register, visit www.nkychamber.com/
