Thomas More Women improve to 22-0 with Win Over Mary Hardin-Baylor
The Thomas More women's basketball team remained undefeated, improving to 22-0 on the season with a 73-55 win over Mary Hardin-Baylor on Monday night in Belton, Oh.
The Saints are ranked #2 in the nation in NCAA Division III.
Thomas More started hot, leading 32-9 after the first quarter and 46-23 at the half. The Saints shot 61.5 percent from the field, and 66.7 percent from beyond the arc.
For the game, the Saints shot 48.1 percent from the field.
Junior Emily Schultz, a Bishop Brossart grad, led the Saints with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Madison Temple added 16 points.
TMU is not back on the court again until Jan. 26 when the Saints travel to Beaver Falls, Pa. to take on Geneva College.
