DBL Law Names Hoffer New Managing Partner
DBL Law has a new managing partner.
The firm announced Thursday that Robert "Bob" Hoffer will assume the role, succeeding James Dressman III, who had held the position since 2012.
Hoffer joined the firm in 1978. He specializes in employment law.
In 2018, Hoffer was honored with the Pioneer Award from the Kenton County Fiscal Court, and was named the 2012 Distinguished Lawyer of the Year by the Northern Kentucky Bar Association.
In 2012, Covington Catholic High School recognized Hoffer as Northern Kentuckian of the Year. The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce awarded Hoffer the Leader of Distinction Award in 2009.
Hoffer graduated from Covington Latin School in 1972, Xavier University in 1976, and Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law in 1980.
He is the chair of the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Foundation and a former member of the St. Elizabeth Healthcare board of trustees.
He and his wife, Diane, live in Ft. Mitchell. They have four children and four grandchildren.
Dressman will remain an active DBL partner, a news release said.
