Youth Foundation gets $10,000 from Covington Commissioner

It must be check-writing season for Covington City Commissioner Steve Frank. The first-term Commissioner, who is up for reelection in November, wrote a pair of $2,000 checks to two firefighters for winning Frank's online contest that solicited suggestions that could save or make the city money. The winning suggestion was about raising collection fees for ambulance runs. Now, word comes from the Northern Kentucky Youth Foundation that Frank has written an even larger check:

The Northern Kentucky Youth Foundation (NKYF) would like to thank Covington City Commissioner, Steven Frank, for his generous monetary donation to the Northern Kentucky Youth Collaborative.  Steven Frank, presented NKY Youth Foundation with a $10,000 financial commitment on September 1, 2012.
“We thank Steven Frank for his generous donation to our Youth Collaborative program,” stated Ryan Courtade, Board President for NKYF.  “This program is important to the regionalization of youth services and support and the donation will help us grow programs even more.”

“I am delighted to support Northern Kentucky Youth Foundation programs,” added Steven Frank.  “As a city commissioner, I know that communities cannot develop without a thriving school district and opportunities for success.”
