Fight Between Roommates Leads to Stabbing in Bellevue

A man was stabbed late Thursday night in Bellevue.

Bellevue Police responded to 114 Memorial Parkway at 11:13 p.m. after receiving a call about a stabbing. According to a news release, the victim was standing and alert when officers arrived.

The victim had been in a verbal and physical altercation with a former roommate in a wooded area behind the apartment.

That former roommate, James Cameron, had been staying in a tent in the woods near the building where the fight happened. According to police, Camerom stabbed his former roommate in the stomach and was arrested on a  first degree assault charge.

The victim's condition is unknown to police at the time of publication.
