Winter Won't Let Go: Snow Storm Predicted for Northern Kentucky

Tuesday marks the first day of spring, and Monday, the last day of winter appeared to accept that fact, with sunny skies and temperatures in the 50s.

But winter is not ready to let go yet.

A snow storm is predicted for Northern Kentucky.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Oh. issued a winter weather advisory, starting Tuesday at 8 p.m. through Wednesday at 8 p.m. One to three inches of snow is expected. The NWS warns drivers to plan on slippery road conditions, including during the Wednesday morning commute.

Tuesday's high is expected to be 44 with a low of 31 with the snow starting late that night.

On Wednesday, snow is expected mainly through 4 p.m. It will also be windy with gusts possibly reaching 28 miles per hour. Expect a high around 37 and a low around 23.

Thursday and Friday are expected to be sunny with high temperatures in the 40s, but more snow is forecasted for Friday night and Saturday morning.
