Winter Storm Watch Issued, 3 to 5 Inches Possible for NKY
It has been a wintry start to spring in Northern Kentucky and that will continue through the weekend with one of the season's heaviest snowfalls possible.
A winter storm watch was issued by the National Weather Service for the region Friday through early Sunday morning.
Currently, three to five inches of snow are forecasted between Friday night and Saturday.
The NWS said to plan on difficult travel conditions and reduction in visibility.
Friday will be sunny during the day with a high near 47, but by Friday night there could be rain starting at around 11 p.m., turning to snow overnight into Saturday morning and afternoon.
Sunshine returns on Sunday with a high near 43, and then there is more sunshine on Monday with a high near 51.
