263 New Apartments Coming to Dayton Riverfront
More than 250 high-end apartments will soon be constructed on the Dayton riverfront.
Arlington Properties will develop Tapestry on the River within the 14-acre Manhattan Harbour project.
The company cited a need for luxury apartment homes in the area, particularly for professionals who desire an upscale urban environment along the water's edge.
“With that in mind, we plan to create a resort-style experience just minutes from downtown, emphasizing outdoor gathering and entertaining spaces, fire pits and grilling stations, and dining terraces with soft seating," said Tami Stertmeyer, regional vice president of Arlington. "These community features will complement the Manhattan Harbour Riverwalk, adjacent to our front door, which is ideal for biking and walking.”
The project includes 263 apartments in four 4-story buildings with controlled access, elevators, and air conditioned interior hallways.
The buildings will offer views of the Ohio River with ample resident parking, bike storage, and other amenities.
The City of Dayton voted to approved the issuance of up to $35 million in industrial revenue bonds at its city council meeting earlier this month.
The one, two, and three-bedroom apartment homes will offer open floorplans and ample closet and storage space. Each apartment will have a chef-inspired kitchen with granite countertops, custom cabinetry, pendant lighting, and stainless steel appliances.
The community will have a resident social and sports lounge, complimentary Wi-Fi in those areas, a premium coffee/tea bar, fitness and yoga studio, and a resort-style saltwater pool.
There will be non-smoking and pet-friendly buildings available.
“We are thrilled to have Arlington Properties involved in this project,” said Paul Darpel, Manhattan Harbor Project, LLC. “They have a solid reputation for building, owning and managing high-quality multi-family communities, and will offer a top- shelf product unmatched in this region.”
