Fairfield Mile Race - Benefiting Christian Athletes - Returns to Bellevue
The Fairfield Avenue Mile returns to Bellevue on Saturday for its 22nd year.
The mile-long run/walk starts at 9 a.m. ay Frisch's on Landmark Drive.
Benefiting the NKY Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the race raises funds for scholarships that will be awarded to local student-athletes to attend camps where they will explore faith, sports, and leadership.
The entry fee is $20 - and children 5 and under are free. Click here to register.
From Frisch's, the race turns to Fairfield Avenue and ends at the Callahan Center on Van Voast Avenue. The race is open to competitive runners, casual walkers, and even dogs.
Following the race, WXIX sports director Joe Danneman will make a guest appearance.
Snacks, beverages, and swag bags will be provided at the Callahan Center.T
