Graeter's, Braxton Announce New Ice Cream-Inspired Collaboration
Braxton Brewing Company and Grater's Ice Cream announced their newest collaboration.
Following up on their wildly successful Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout, the two local brands are launching Pumpkin Pie Ale.
The smooth, rich, creamy ale will be reminiscent of the seasonal Graeter's flavor, a news release said.
Brewed with fresh pumpkins, lactose, and a special blend of pumpkin spices, and with notes of golden brown pie crust created by brown sugar and a combination of malts, the beer will be available in 4-packs locally starting September 17.
The beer will be tapped at Braxton's Covington location on Friday, September 14, at 7:30 a.m. Cans will be available then, too. The taproom will be turned into a pumpkin patch.
Following the opening celebration on that Friday, which will also include Graeter's donuts and a special iced pumpkin spice starter latte, there will be live music on Friday and Saturday nights, and a pumpkin painting and decorating event.
Graeter's will have ice cream available at Braxton all weekend.
