How Will Frankfort Spend Your Tax Dollars in 2014?
The Kentucky General Assembly returns to Frankfort on January 7 for a 60-day budget session.
Where will the money go?
Local lawmakers will shed some light on that question at Thursday's Northern Kentucky Forum. The panel includes Senate Majority Floor Leader Damon Thayer (R-Georgetown), Sen. Chris McDaniel (R-Taylor Mill), and Rep. Arnold Simpson (D-Covington).
The state's two-year budget is likely to be on top of the agenda in Frankfort this session with education, tax reform, and casino gambling expected to be catalysts for discussion, too.
But what about the Brent Spence Bridge project? The Gateway Community & Technical College urban metro campus in Covington? Will the General Assembly act this year?

The Northern Kentucky Forum is from 6:15 - 8 p.m. at Northern Kentucky University's Otto M. Budig Theater in the University Center. Free parking is available in the Kenton Garage.
