Here's When the New Bridge on Taylor Mill's Pride Parkway Will Open
The bridge on Pride Parkway in Taylor Mill will finally open.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet - District 6 office reports Tuesday that the bridge will open Wednesday afternoon, December 31.
Traffic will be allowed to cross the bridge in a temporary alignment with one lane of travel in each direction. The northern intersection of Pride Parkway with Taylor Creek Drive and Old Taylor Mill Road will be controlled with a 4-way stop. The southern intersection of Pride parkway with Old Taylor Mill Road will be controlled with a 3-way stop.
The remainder of the project will not be changed and traffic will continue to proceed with one lane of travel in each direction on the new pavement between Sunbrite Drive and Old Taylor Mill Road.
Blackstone Court and Robertson Road will not have access to the new alignment at this time. For Robertson Road, local resident from house #828 to #864 will continue to only have access from the north intersection of Old Taylor Mill Road and Robertson Road.
It is important for motorists to use caution and watch for signage and traffic control devices.
Anticipated completion is summer 2015.
