Tornado Watch & Storms Monday, but Nice Days Await
The National Weather Service has issued a TORNADO WATCH for Northern Kentucky through 8 p.m. Monday.
Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Gallatin, and Carroll Counties are under the WATCH.
The NWS expects showers and thunderstorms before midnight and then a slight chance of showers between midnight and 1 a.m. Some of the storms could be severe. The overnight low is expected to drop to around 56.
The next few days, however, look like a great taste of spring.

Wednesday also calls for sunny skies and 69, but without the wild winds.
On Thursday we'll see mostly sunny skies and high near 73 though that evening there will be a chance of showers as the low drops to the upper 50's.
Stormy weather hangs around Friday through Sunday. On Friday, expect mostly cloudy skies and a high near 75 with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Saturday's high will reach closer to 79 with cloudy skies and possible storms. We're back in the 80's on Sunday with a high near 82 and a chance of showers under cloudy skies.
By Monday, we're partly cloudy with a high near 84.
