Three NKY Seniors Awarded Scholarships from Kenton County Rotary

The Rotary Club of Kenton County recently presented scholarships to three high school seniors from Kenton County through the Rotary’s College Scholarship Program.

The main objective of Rotary is service - in the community, in the workplace and throughout the world. The Rotary Club’s College Scholarship Program is one way of acknowledging the efforts of future leaders who are already aware of their responsibility for giving back to the communities where they live.

Applicants for this scholarship are evaluated on the basis of their community commitment as well as leadership skills and academic achievement.

At the Rotary Club of Kenton County’s luncheon on Thursday, June 9, scholarships were presented to the following students:

  • Carley Brueckner, graduate of Simon Kenton High School. Brueckner will be attending the University of Louisville.
  • Lindsey Fossitt, graduate of Simon Kenton High School. Fossitt will be attending Northern Kentucky University.
  • Nathan Sucher, graduate of Covington Catholic High School. Sucher will be attending the University of Cincinnati.
