Accused Police Shooter Indicted
Pharo Wilson, the man accused of shooting at four Covington Police officers last Friday has been indicted by a Kenton County Grand Jury. Wilson, 26, faces three charges of attempted murder of a police officer, first degree assault, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and second degree persistent felony offender. Wilson allegedly opened fire on the officers in City Heights early Friday morning when they sought to question him in connection to a robbery nearby. An hours-long manhunt led to Wilson's arrest at a motel in Colerain Township. He pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday. He faces 20 - 50 years or life in prison if convicted.
