Effort to Remove Obama from KY Ballot Dismissed
The effort by a Louisville doctor to have President Barack Obama's name removed from the ballot in Kentucky has been dismissed by a Franklin County judge:
“This court trusts that the members of the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives are qualified to adjudicate any objections regarding an allegedly unqualified candidate,” Wingate wrote in the two-page ruling.
Louisville anesthesiologist Todd House filed suit claiming that Obama isn’t qualified to run for president because Obama’s father was not an American citizen and because, he claims, Obama was born in Kenya.
