Latonia Gas Station Robbed

UPDATE (Monday 10:15AM): Covington Police tell The River City News that no arrest has been made yet in connection to this Sunday morning robbery. The suspect is identified as a white male, 5'9" - 5'11" with a heavy build. He supposedly had a concealed handgun in the waistband of his pants when he demanded that the clerk at the Shell station give him all the money in the register. When last seen, the suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

ORIGINAL POST (Sunday morning):

The Shell gas station at Thirtieth & Decoursey in Latonia was held up shortly before 10:00AM Sunday. Covington Police were on the scene quickly but a supervisor with the department said there were no further details immediately available. There was no comment as to whether a suspect is still on the loose and who that suspect may be. The store was closed down for a short period but had reopened shortly after 10:00AM.
