Drug Arrest Leads to Discovery of $166,000 in Marijuana Plants
A drug tip led Kentucky State Police to a home on Church Street in Canmer, Kentucky in the evening hours of last Thursday. Once inside the home of Woodrow Carter, 26, investigatos found eighty-three suspected marijuana plants with a street value of $166,000, according to a news release.
Police also found items used to assist in the growing where the plants were discovered.
Carter was arrested and charged with cultivation of marijuana (five plants or more), possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. He is in the Hart County Jail.
