School District Calls Special Meeting for Superintendent Search Planning
The Covington Board of Education will hold a special meeting Monday, February 4 at 7:00 p.m. for a superintendent search planning meeting with the Kentucky School Board Association. Last week, the Covington School Board approved a contract worth $8,500 with the KSBA to assist in the search to replace Lynda Jackson who announced her retirement in December.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
COVINGTON BOARD OF EDUCATION
Pursuant to KRS 160.270 the Covington Board of Education has been called to a special meeting by Ms. Lynda Jackson, Secretary to the Board, upon petition of Mr. Jerry Avery, Chairman of the Board. The meeting will be held Monday, February 4, 2013, 7:00 p.m., at the Administration Building, 25 East Seventh Street, Covington, Kentucky 41011. Should a request for accommodations due to physical disability be received, then such meeting will be conducted at an alternative location, at the above time and date or as soon thereafter as may be convenient.
This notice was provided to all news media and an original copy was posted at the entrance of the School District Administrative Building on the date above.
Discussion and action at this meeting will be limited to the item(s) contained in this agenda.
