Kenton Co. Libraries to Go Smoke-Free Monday
Beginning April 1, 2013, smoking and tobacco use anywhere on Kenton County Public Library property will be prohibited. The Library’s Board of Trustees has decided to go to a smoke-free campus in order to promote a healthier environment for all who visit.
In preparation for the transition, the Library began offering a smoking cessation class in February. Library officials teamed with Remke/bigg’s staff which has been trained in Cooper Clayton method to stop smoking.
While it is too late to enroll in the Library’s smoking cessation classes, anyone interested in learning more are advised to contact the Cooper/Clayton Hot Line at (859) 301-5570. Additional support is available by calling 1-800-QUIT-NOW. For more information on the Cooper/Clayton Method, visit http://www.stopsmoking4ever.
