Man Arrested for Shoplifting Condoms from Covington Gas Station
Kenneth Hayden, Jr. was arrested by Covington Police just two days before his twenty-third birthday, accusing him of shoplifting condoms from the Speedway gas station on Fourth Street.
According to a police report, a manager at the Speedway flagged down a Covington police officer at around 3:00 p.m. Sunday, saying that Hayden had stolen from the store.
A search of Hayden by police led to the discovery of two boxes of condoms as well as a bag containing suspected crack cocaine and eight Xanax pills.
A female companion with Hayden was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia.
Hayden was booked into the Kenton County Detention Center on charges of shoplifting, first degree possession, and third degree possession.
He was expected to have appeared in court Monday morning.
