Three from Covington Shot in Car in Cincinnati, Teen in Critical Condition
UPDATE #2: WCPO reports that Cincinnati Police have made an arrest in this case. 21-year old Joseph Wright, a homeless man, is in custody is charged with three counts of felonious assault. Wright's nickname is "Joe Crack" according to the report.
UPDATE #1: WKRC reports that the names of the victims have been released. D-Marus Glover, 15, is at Children's Hospital with a life-threatening wound to the head. Dequinn Little, 23, and Darian Jackson, 23, are at University Hospital being treated for their wounds. An earlier report by WLWT indicated that one person was killed in the shooting, but that story has been corrected at the station's website and the information is removed from the original post below.
Three people were shot inside a car on the Cincinnati side of the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge. One of the victims, a 15-year old, suffered life-threatening injuries according to WXIX.
Shots were fired at close to midnight near Third Street and Central Avenue.
The vehicle, with the victims inside, made its way across the Clay Wade to the Speedway gas station at Fourth & Philadelphia Streets, where one of the victims was dropped off before being transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital. The two other victims were taken directly to the hospital, WKRC reports.
WCPO reports that the teen was taken to Children's Hospital.
Cincinnati Police told the media that the victims were from Covington and that the parties involved in the shooting knew each other. The suspects are still on the loose after crossing the bridge into Covington.
