Knochelmann to Challenge Arlinghaus for Kenton Judge-Exec Job
Kenton County Commissioner Kris Knochelmann will run against incumbent Judge-Executive Steve Arlinghaus in next year's Republican primary to claim the county's top elected post, The Cincinnati Enquirer reports:
“I have never considered myself a politician, rather a small business owner who wants to serve our community. Over the past few years when asked by others to consider serving our county as judge-executive, I was flattered but thought that serving as a commissioner was enough. However, after prayerful consideration with my family and friends, I have decided to enter the GOP primary,” said Knochelmann.
Knochelmann says he will focus his campaign on the county’s future and believes his background in public service and business leadership will benefit the area.
