Another Flash Flood Watch In Effect, Rain Stays in Forecast

Another flash flood watch has been issued for Northern Kentucky by the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio.

Occasional showers and possible thunderstorms will continues through Friday afternoon with heavy rain possible during some of the storms which could result in the possibility of localized flash floods throughout the day.

The NWS warns those living or traveling along creeks and streams to be alert to the potential of flash flooding. If you are planning to hike or camp over the weekend be advised that water levels along creeks and streams may rise very rapidly, as evidenced by Banklick Creek's inundation of Pioneer Park in South Covington on Thursday.

The flash flood watch is in effect until 6 p.m. If a warning is issued, this page will be updated.

Meanwhile, more rain is expected through late next week.
