Full Spectrum, Covington's Fall Arts Schedule, Announced

Full Spectrum is announced this week by the City of Covington where the fall celebration of arts and culture runs August 29 through October 31.

12,000 people are expected to attend the sixteen events on the schedule which include art exhibitions, cultural festivals, fundraising galas, entrepreneurship events, and professional workshops.

According to a news release, the City of Covington recognizes the importance of its historical legacy and embraces arts and culture as a primary driver for economic revitalization.

As a result, Full Spectrum began by listening to the needs of Baker Hunt, Behringer-Crawford, The Carnegie, Mainstrasse Village and all of the valued arts and cultural stakeholders in the community and saying "yes" to their ideas about arts and culture.

The innovative approach creates a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment. In less than four years, FULL Spectrum has grown from a month-long campaign with approximately 8 - 10 events to an entire eight-week Fall celebration, complete with 16 events encompassing art, culture, and enterprise.

"The expansion of FULL Spectrum is remarkable," says Art Director Cate Yellig, "It proves creativity thrives when we listen to the needs of our partners, present united arts and cultural programming, and attract visitors through enhanced communication. We are really excited about all of the great things happening in Covington this Fall!"
