Read County Attorney's Letter Rejected by Attorney General Regarding Covington Commissioner
Attorney General Jack Conway's office says it will not be appointing a special attorney general as requested by Kenton County Attorney Garry Edmondson, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Edmondson had requested Monday to be appointed to that post in order to continue his push to oust Covington City Commissioner Michelle Williams, whom he believes, as he declared in June, to be ineligible to hold office.
Edmondson had written to the Attorney General and said that the Kenton County Sheriff is still investigating Williams. The County Attorney also included details on Williams' court martial during her time in the US MIlitary in which she was accused of a federal crime involving mail.
