Newport Man ID'd as Suspect in Alexandria Bank Robbery
Police have identified a man that they believe robbed a bank in Alexandria last Friday.
Joseph Lowery, 38, is last known to have lived in Newport.
He is accused of robbing the Bank of Kentucky branch on Alexandria Pike on Friday afternoon. His vehicle was recovered nearby shortly after.
While Lowery is not believed to have used a gun in the robbery, police consider him to be armed and dangerous.
According to records in Kenton County, Lowery has a lengthy criminal past with at least nine arrests in Kenton County alone, though the most recent was in 2002.
