Covington Coach Arrested on Sex Abuse Charge
A volunteer football coach in Northern Kentucky has been arrested on a sexual abuse charge.
Thomas Hansman, 27, was arrested by Covington Police on Wednesday and has since bonded out of the Kenton County Detention Center.
WLWT reports that a Diocese of Covington spokesperson said that Hansman was a volunteer football coach at Holy Cross. He is no longer connected to the program, the spokesperson told the TV station.
Hansman is expected to appear in Kenton County Circuit Court on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. facing charges of first degree sexual abuse (involving a female minor) as well as prohibited use of electronic communication system to procure a minor.
