Kocanut Joe's Co-Owner Dies After Fall in Italy
A Northern Kentucky business owner and real estate agent has died following a fall while on vacaton in Italy.
Napoli Today, an Italian newspaper, reports that Kenneth Kocan, 37, fell from a balcony at a hotel in Sorrento.
Kocan was the co-owner and general manager of Kocanut Joe's which he founded with Joe Zembrodt in 2012. The pair also worked for Huff Realty's Florence office, according to WCPO. A joint website indicates that they operated as ZK Real Estate. That website says that Kocan and Zembrodt are both Northern Kentucky natives and residents of Villa Hills.
WXIX reports that Kocanut Joe's was a hybrid of Kocan and Zembrodt's names and that Kocan's "life and business partner" was with him in Italy.
