Traffic Delays Expected as Work Begins on Decoursey Pike, Cut-in-the-Hill

UPDATE: Striping work on the Cut-in-the-Hill was canceled due to rain and has not been rescheduled yet.


A striping project will begin on Wednesday at the Cut-in-the-Hill area on Interstate 71/75, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said in a news release. Work will begin at 9 a.m. and possibly last till 3 p.m. as crews re-stripe lanes from I-275 interchange to the Brent Spence Bridge, northbound and southbound.

Lane closures and short delays are possible.

On Thursday, Decoursey Pike (KY 177) will be reduced to one lane from Grand Avenue to Locust Pike so that a culvert pipe can be installed. The lane will be closed between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Flaggers will be in place to assist with traffic. Long delays are possible.
