Storms Expected for Halloween

The scariest part of Halloween this year may turn out to be the weather.

The National Weather Service is calling for a 100% chance of precipitation on Thursday.

A vigorous storm system will move across the Northern Kentucky region Thursday into Thursday night. Due to the strong low level wind fields there will be the potential for damaging wind gusts across the area.

The highest wind gusts are expected Thursday afternoon into Thursday night.

In Louisville, tornadoes will be possible, according to the Courier-Journal. Some towns in the Louisville area have rescheduled trick-or-treating times.
