Auditor to Announce Special Examination of CVG Airport Board
Kentucky Auditor Adam Edelen will announce a special examination of the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) Board of Directors.
Edelen's office issued a news release Tuesday afternoon.
The auditor will appear at Gateway Community & Technical College Center for Advanced Manufacturing in Florence at 10 a.m.
The special examination follows a report in late October by Cincinnati Enquirer investigative reporter James Pilcher that highlighted the travel expenditures permitted by the CVG Board.
The Kenton County Airport Board is led by Chairman James Huff and Vice Chairman Larry Savage. Several of the board's members are appointed directly by the Kenton County Judge-Executive.
