Winter Storm Warning Issued for Northern Kentucky Friday

UPDATE: The winter storm watch issued for the area on Wednesday has been upgraded to a winter storm WARNING. That warning is in effect from 1 a.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday. The National Weather Service predicts three to six inches of snow possible during that time along with possible light ice accumulation.

Rain will transition to a wintry mix on Thursday night and then snow on Friday.
Hazardous travel conditions are expected due to reduced visibilities and snow accumulations.
