Man Pleads Guilty, Faces 15 Years for Robbing Covington Bank
A man pleaded guilty last week to robbing a Covington bank over the summer.
Sam Boles, 40, faces fifteen years in prison when he is sentenced in January.
He pleaded guilty last Monday in Kenton County Circuit Court to second degree robbery and being a persistent felony offender.
The Advantage Bank on Pike Street in Downtown Covington was robbed on July 15. Sam and Jennifer Boles were both arrested and charged in the crime two days later. Sam Boles was indicted on first degree robbery and persistent felony offender charges in August.
When Sam Boles faces a judge on January 28, Kenton County Commonwealth's Attorney first assistant prosecutor Jim Redwine will ask for a fifteen year prison sentence.
