River Metals Recycling to Receive State Safety Award
River Metals Recycling in Newport will be recognized by the Commonwealth of Kentucy's Labor Cabinet on Tuesday.
The company will receive "SHARP" status, or "safety and health achievement recognition program".
Anthony Russell, Commissioner of Workplace Standards at the Kentucky Labor Cabinet will join Plant Manager Arvil Pennington when presenting the honor.
A ceremony is planned for noon at the company's Licking Pike location.
