Bromley Councilman Dies
Longtime Bromley City Councilman Dan Gardiner passed away on Sunday, December 29, at his home.
He was 66.
Gardiner was retired from Western Southern Life Insurance where was a retired underwriting consultant, according to his obituary. A veteran of the US Air Force during the Vietnam era, Gardiner was a member of Sts. Boniface & James Church in Ludlow, Bromley Vets, and a former member of the Bromley Fire Department.
He was also a Kentucky Colonel.
Gardiner is survived by his wife, Janet, and sons Rob (& daughter-in-law Candy), Jeff (daughter-in-law Dawn) Gardiner, and daughters Donna (son-in-law Chuck) Patton, and Mandi (son-in-law Chris) Moore. He had seven grandchildren.
Visitation and burial were Friday. Gardiner will be interred at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to made to St. Jude's Children's Research or the Pancreatic Career Action Network.
