Cincinnati Councilman's Former Chief of Staff Joins Omni Advocacy, Strategic Advisers

Ben Frech, the former chief of staff and campaign manager for Councilman P.G. Sittenfeld during his first two terms on Cincinnati City Council, has joined Omni Advocacy Group and will manage the government relations firm’s new Cincinnati office.
Frech, who helped guide Sittenfeld to record-breaking victories in both fundraising and electoral results in his 2011 and 2013 city council races, will provide government-relations work for Omni clients primarily in Greater Cincinnati and southwestern Ohio as well as in the state capitol in Columbus.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Omni Advocacy Group and its associated PR firm, Strategic Advisers,” Frech said. “The company’s diverse clientele and wide range of services, coupled with their reputation for 'getting things done,' made my decision to leave public service an easy one. I look forward to helping both companies expand their business footprint into the Greater Cincinnati region and the State of Ohio."
Patrick Crowley, the former Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper reporter who leads Omni Advocacy Group, said Frech is a natural fit for the company after the company hired former U.S. Congressman Ben Chandler last summer to expand its Kentucky operations.
“I have spent much of my personal and professional life around City Hall and Cincinnati politics and government and I believe Ben Frech is one of the brightest, hardest working individuals I have encountered in this business,” Crowley said. “We are proud to welcome Ben to our team as we continue to grow our business in my hometown of Cincinnati.”
In addition to his work with Sittenfeld, Frech also served as a political and fundraising consultant for Fraioli & Associates in Washington, D.C., where he provided fundraising and campaign services for a diverse group of Congressional members. He also served on the finance staff of the John Cranley for Congress and the Zack Space for Congress campaigns and served as a campaign research and sales assistant for NGP/VAN Software in Washington, D.C., a leading technology provider for political campaigns.
Omni Advocacy Group provides lobbying, advocacy, and other consulting services to clients engaged with local, state, federal, and international governments. Other members of the firm are former Covington City Manager Jay Fossett and Greg Greene, a former banker with 5/3 Bank.
The government-relations firm works closely with Strategic Advisers, a public-relations and digital-media firm – also owned by Crowley, Fossett, and Greene -- that provides PR, digital-media, political-consulting, public-education, and grassroots-outreach consulting services to Omni and its clients.
