Arrest Made After Suspect Allegedly Steals Donation Jar for Second Time
An Erlanger man is behind bars after allegedly stealing a donation jar at a Florence convenience store for a second time.
Joshua Having, 32, is in the Kenton County Detention Center where he is being held on $25,000 bond.
The donation jar was put in place at the Turfway Shell Gas Station to raise funds for an employee injured in a previous robbery.
Having is accused of stealing it twice.
Florence Police said in a news release that a warrant was issued for Having's arrest and he was taken into custody by Erlanger Police. The department credited local media for highlighting the case which led to "numerous anonymous tips".
Having will be charged with two counts of theft by unlawful taking.
