Man Sought in Thefts from Vehicles, Including Sheriff's Deputy's Cruiser

UPDATE (11:38 A.M.): Hollingsworth has been captured by Newport Police.

A man is wanted by police as a suspect in multuple vehicle thefts, thefts from cars, and fraudulent use of credit cards in Kentucky and Ohio.

Tim Hollingsworth, 46, has been seen in the area of Newport Pavilion in the past few days, Newport Police reported. The suspect is said to frequent the gas pumps and Kroger as well as the Walgreens and Target in Newport.

Hollingsworth (pictured above) is also the suspect in a theft from a sheriff's deputy's vehicle where a set of handcuffs and a badge were taken.

He is approximately 5'6", 170 lbs., has a stocky build and a large tattoo on his neck that reads "Too Much". Investigators consider him to be an escape risk since he has escaped custody in the past.

Hollingsworth is also wanted on a warrant out of Elsmere for second degree assault.  Previous run-ins with the law include charges of robbery, misuse of a credit card, and theft.

Police have spotted him on video in the company of a heavy-set female (pictured below) that has not been identified.

If you see Hollingsworth, call Crime Stoppers at 513.352.3040.
