
Race to Bring Hundreds to Downtown Covington
Covington Latin School is hosting the Quo Vadis 5K & 10K race on Saturday.
Hundreds of runners are expected and registration will still be available the day of the race for those wishing to participate.
The race starts and finishes at Covington Latin (11th Street and Madison Avenue). The route stretches down Madison Avenue, through Licking Riverside Historic District and RiverCenter Boulevard, around Mutter Gottes neighborhood, and then back to Latin School.
Participants can run a 10K or walk a 5K. The run is $25 and the walk is $15. T-shirts are an additional $10.
The race will be chipped timed by Steve Prescott Racing.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. There is free parking available at the Center City Parking Garage (Seventh Street between Madison & Scott Blvd). Free shuttle service will be available starting at 7:30 a.m.

Race organizers have hired 26 police officers to manage traffic flow and runner safety for the duration of the event. The race route will affect traffic patterns in the city center, Historic Licking Riverside neighborhood, Old Seminary Square and Westside neighborhoods.
