McDaniel Selected as GOPAC Emerging Leader

Kentucky State Senator Chris McDaniel (R-Taylor Mill) was chosen as one of twenty-one legislators from across the county as an Emerging Leader, a program sponsored by GOPAC, an national organization that works to elect Republicans.

The legislators selected were nominated by a member of GOPAC's Legislative Leaders Advisory Board and were chosen because of the potential and ability they have shown to have an impact in their states and the Republican Party.

“Our Emerging Leaders program is a yearlong initiative to coach and develop promising state legislators on how to be effective legislative and political leaders. With the 2014 Class showing a strong commitment to ideas leading to more private sector jobs and more effective government at lower costs, we look forward to assisting them with leadership training, policy seminars and interactive discussions at our Annual Emerging Leaders Summit,” said Chairman Frank Donatelli.

"Daily, I am honored to come to work in Frankfort," McDaniel said when the news was announced. "Today, I am humbled to be recognized by GOPAC as an Emerging Leader nationwide."

McDaniel was elected to represent northern Kenton County in the State Senate during the November 2012 election. He is president of McD Concrete Enterprises.
