Covington Man Arrested, Charged With Driving Drunk Into Taylor Mill Porch
A man was arrested Sunday morning after allegedly driving drunk and hitting a Taylor Mill house's porch, according to police.
William Wagner, 50, veered thirty feet off Taylor Mill Road through a guardrail and into the porch on the 4800 block, according to WLWT.
Wagner, of Covington, was first taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital for the treatment of possible injuries before being booked into the Kenton County Detention Center. Prior to being placed in custody, Wagner allegedly tried to flee the scene.
He is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, first degree wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, and third degree assault on a police officer. Wagner kicked a police officer, according to WCPO.
Wagner was released from jail after posting 10% of his $5,000 bond.
He is expected to appear in Kenton County Circuit Court on Tuesday morning.
