Workshop Announced for Would-Be Small Business Owners
Obtaining financing for a small business venture can difficult, particularly in our current economic climate.
Bellevue Renaissance hopes to help with that.
The organization announced the Small Business SUPER Series sponsored by The Bank of Kentucky and created by the economic restructuring committee.
The first workshop will be held Wednesday and is titled, "Show Me The Money".
The economic restructuring committee aims to strengthen, support, and grow the entrepreneur community in Bellevue and throughout the region. The chair of the committee is Sarah Grace Mohr of Mackey Advisors.
"The shortened holiday shopping season coupled with the brutal winter has made obtaining financing more critical than ever for our small businesses, not only Bellevue, but throughout the NKY river cities," Mohr said.
The workshop will be held Wednesday at the Callahan Community Center (326 Van Voast Avenue) in Bellevue at 6:30 p.m. Registration is requested by calling Jody at 859-292-4220 or sending her an email at [email protected] to help the committee and presenters to prepare.
The event is FREE and open to small business owners and anyone considering opening a small business.
The next workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7 at 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Callahan Center. This lively presentation is titled 50 Ideas in 50 Minutes with a panel of marketing professionals, small business owners, and professors. Participants will hear new and exciting ideas to fuel their marketing efforts.
