Heroin Town Hall Meeting Set for Covington's Austinburg Neighborhood
The Austinburg Neighborhood Association will host a town hall meeting next week for the purpose of discussing the region's heroin problem.
On Monday, the association welcomes Covington Police Chief Spike Jones, Fire Chief Dan Mathew, a representative of Casey's Law (a law allowing involuntary drug treatment), and others to speak to the public.
All are welcome to attend. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at Oakland Avenue Baptist Church (603 E. 17th St.).
Refreshments and conversation will be available after the meeting.
