Covington Businesses Finalists for New Storefront Signs

CoSign - which last year announced plans to bring its business signage project to downtown Covington - held their first informational workshop at Covington Arts.

The event drew over 40 designers, fabricators, and small business owners interested in participating in a project that began in the Northside neighborhood in Cincinnati in 2012.

CoSign, a partnership between the American Sign Museum, The Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr./U.S. Bank Foundation, ArtPlace America, The National Endowment for the Arts, and the Covington community, aims to facilitate the creation and installation of fifteen new signs in the city’s downtown business district over the next five months.

The new signs will be unveiled during a special ceremony at Art Off Pike on September 28. In all, twenty-three Covington businesses applied for the program and dozens of designers and fabricators have signed up to participate.
