Following a hearing presided over by zoning administrator Andy Juengling, notice was served Friday to Liberty that it could no longer sell alcohol.
The city determined that the strip club allowed nude or nearly nude activity, solicited patrons to purchase alcoholic drinks for employees, and compensated employees through a percentage of alcohol sales.
Liberty and its owner, Kim Foran, have thirty days to appeal the decision to the Kentucky Alcoholic Beverage Control. The property and its liquor license were placed up for sale by the owner on the day of the city hearing last week.
