The Original Goettafest Hits Mainstrasse Village this Weekend

Mainstrasse Village's Original Goettafest is back this weekend.

The staple of Northern Kentucky diets was brought to the region by German immigrants -- and it's not just for breakfast anymore. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, sample Goetta ruebens, goetta balls, goetta chedda cheese, goetta chili, goetta and cheese omelet, and goetta burgers.

Never tried goetta? Better get to the village and check it out!

In addition to the food, there will be arts, crafts, music, entertainment, and children's activities along the tree-lined Sixth Street Promenade.

Plus, the Village's shops and restaurants will be open, too.
