"Covington", A Sweet, Nostalgic Ragtime Tune

As Covington prepares to celebrates its two hundredth birthday, let's take a moment to gaze upon some historic photos to the nostalgic Ragtime-inspired tune named for the city.

Musician Bonnie Whitehurst, a Florida-based harpist, composed the song "Covington" as part of an album of Ragtime-infused music, all named for cities that she visited throughout the United States.

"The music in this CD is somewhat nostalgic in nature due to the Ragtime inspiration," Whitehurst wrote at her Youtube page.
