Fourth of July Parades in Northern Kentucky
If you plan to celebrate the Fourth of July with friends and family, here's a list of places to do just that:
Friday: Festival at Memorial Park from 5 - 11 p.m. with food, rides, games, music, and a silent auction (in the Senior Center from 5 - 9:30 p.m.). DeWayne Spaw performs at 7 p.m. A Balloon Glow happens at dusk with hot air ballons illuminating the evening sky.
Saturday: Cruise-in car show at Kroger from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Parade starts at 3 p.m. (from Summit View Middle School to Memorial Park); Festivities run from 4 to 11 p.m. Doghouse performs at 7 .m. Fantastic Fireworks Show stats at 10 p.m. Shuttle bus services runs from 7:30 - 9:45 p.m. and picks up at Simon Kenton, White's Tower, and Summit View Schools with stops at Independence Christian Church and St. Cecilia Church. Shuttles resume after the fireworks from 10:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.
Peaselburg 4th of July Independence Day Parade
Friday: Parade starts at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine School on West 19th Street (Participants should arrive by 10:30 a.m.)
Each year the Peaselburg community invites residents, businesses, organizations, and local politicians* to participate in our 4th of July Parade (no campaign material distributed please)
Guests are encouraged to decorate bicycles, wagons, strollers, rollerblades, scooters, skateboards, and cars/trucks/floats, and even yourself !
If you are unable to participate in the parade, please join the neighbors and line our streets.
At the conclusion of the parade, everyone is invited to join us at St. Augustine for a social gathering / refreshments and the announcement of prizes for…
● Youth dressed as an important American
● Youth best-decorated bicycle/wagon/stroller
● Best decorated float / car / truck
(all Neighborhood Associations are challenged to enter!)
Parade route: Leave St. Augustine schoolyard and turn left on 19th Street; Left on Euclid Avenue, Right on 18th Street; Right on Holman Avenue; Left on 19th Street; Right on Augustine Street, Right on 21st Street; Right on Howell Street; Left on 19th Street; Right on Jefferson Avenue and back to St. Augustine schoolyard

The City of Florence will hold its annual Independence Day celebration this Thursday, July 3, beginning at 5:00 p.m. on the campus of the Florence Government Center. Festivities will include a "cruise-in" of classic cars, food booths, a kids' zone, rides, games, and musical entertainment. Fireworks start at 10:00 p.m.
Parade begins at 12:30 and goes to 2 p.m. beginning at the Children's Home on Orphanage Road and ending at Beechwood School.
